ICDL Canada is the National Operator for ECDL/ICDL computer use skills in the territory of Canada. The ECDL Foundation is the worldwide certifying authority of the leading international computer skills certification programs - ECDL / ICDL. The ECDL Foundation is a not-for-profit organization owned by many informatics societies and is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. Together, we support the continuous development of ICT skills through the use of structured training and certification programs.

ECDL/ICDL is focused on helping people participate more fully through computer use certification standards that assist individuals of all skill levels to become more proficient computer users. New ICDL has arrived. ICDL Canada, working with our courseware and testing providers, has assembled a large array of text-based and e-learning training materials supporting the New ICDL. Go to the status report to see what New ICDL Module components are now available. There is still more to come but all Base, most Standard and all Advanced Modules are now supported with e-learning and/or text based courseware materials.
