The introduction of Syllabus 5 for ICDL CORE/Start and Syllabus 2.0 for ICDL EXPERT/Advance by ICDL Canada will commence in 2010. These standards are close to being ready in Canada.

ICDL Canada is in the final stages, working with our courseware and testing providers in localizing these for Canadian English usage.

We have targeted the end of the First Quarter for ICDL CORE SV5.0. There will be an overlap period wherein candidates can finish their already started tests in SV 4.0.

Similarly, we are targeted after SV5.0 to have the Advanced 2.0 Tests for individual Advanced Module Certification (AM3, AM4, AM5 and AM6) but will also introduce the Expert PAC for all four Advanced Modules.
